Curriculum Intent, Implementation and Impact
At Harvills Hawthorn Primary school, we provide a high quality, ambitious curriculum. It sets out what we want our children to know and to be able to do by the time they leave our school and is deliberately thought through and planned in terms of its intent, implementation and impact (3 Is).
Each subject lead has carefully considered the '3 Is' when planning out their broad and balanced curriculum. We focus on three key questions to support this:
1. What do we want to achieve through our curriculum? (Intent)
2. How is our curriculum being delivered? (Implementation)
3. What difference is our curriculum making to our pupils? (Impact)
Please see our Curriculum Policy and all individual subject links for further information on our intentions, implementation and impact.
Religious Education (RE)
Parents have the right to withdraw their child from all or part of RE. To do so you must inform the school in writing or via email at info@harvillshawthorn.co.uk. Please ensure that you state your childs full name and class on your request.
